Cross-border entrepreneurship difficult? Well … Yes!
Because the Netherlands is nothing like Germany and Belgium is completely different as well.
But when working in the Euregio opportunities often lay on the other side of the border. Luckily, there is the possibility of enlisting help.

The Erasmus Young Entrepreneurs Programme supports start-ups to seize these cross-border opportunities.

Eric Klein Breteler is a financial advisor active in North Rhine-Westphalia. Early March he joined our Qeske community. This step alone opened some key doors towards the Dutch market. Eric soon joined forces with a Dutch business coach. While visiting the ‘EUREGIO: Meet the start-ups’ they learned of the possibilities offered by the Erasmus Young Entrepreneurs fund. Together, and with the help of the Qeske Community they prepared and submitted a proposal to the fund to allow Eric to access the Dutch market.

In October, after a steep learning curve, they received confirmation their plan had been approved. Eric will now receive € 830 per month over the course of 6 months to execute his plans.

Does your business plan for 2021 include crossing the border? We’d be happy to help you based on our experience. Feel free to email us at info@qeske.nl.
